"A small town store, where it feels like home”
We may have a thriving boutique store, with a local focus, here on Main Street Greenwood, Arkansas. (I mean who doesn’t love Greenwood Bulldog Football and a good Razorback Shirt?!?!🏈) But our beginnings were much smaller than two locations across two counties in Arkansas! Big Dreams + Big Community = Big FUN!
Our story starts in 2016. Kasey and Maegan are 2 sisters who were both working in the medical field. We were tired of shopping in big box stores. There was not a lot to choose from for a boutique store in the Fort Smith, AR area. The boutiques that were available for us to shop were not accessible and affordable to all. So, we decided to open an online store that included clothing that was inclusive to all sizes, shapes, and ages of women with a focus affordable pricing. The items were set up in a spare room in Kasey’s house. We would travel to people’s homes to do sip and shops with girlfriends. We would also do festivals and shopping events around the Fort Smith area as well as sell online. We have always had a love for community, friendship and supporting other women. We loved the community we had developed and all of the new places that HOH took us. We made so many great relationships in towns all over the River Valley area in Arkansas.
Fast forward to 2018 Kasey, Maegan and Patty (our mom) decided to take an opportunity on a brick and mortar lovation in our hometown of Greenwood, Arkansas. There was an opportunity that a gift store was closing, so we decided to combine our boutique store with gift, home goods, and baby items. We wanted to create a unique store in our small town that could be a one stop shop near me!
All 3 of us took the risk of leaving our medical field jobs and jumping in head first into HOH. We established a website, https://shophouseofholland.com, that we were proud of in 2021. We also had an amazing opportunity and opened a second store in Van Buren, AR in 2022. You’ll find HOH right on Main Street Van Buren inside of Main Street Mercantile, where we are surrounded by other local stores who we love and support dearly. Community was such a drive to use in the beginning and still continues to ring true to the present day!
We hope you stop in a store near you, and find something that you will love!
